Minister Koirala: Nepal appreciates Finland’s support
“Nepal is going through a very historical period. We have a very new democracy and peace process, which we want to bring to a logical end. We appreciate the support from Finland in this,” Sujata Koirala, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Nepal, said when visiting her colleague, Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb, on 10 March.

Finns on the Costa del Sol expressed their hopes to the Foreign Minister
Consular services are important to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, nor has the Ministry forgotten the Finnish settlement in the Costa del Sol area of Spain, Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb assured Finns in Costa del Sol. The visit was an important show of recognition for the estimated 20,000 Finns who spend winters there. The minister heard the Finns’ hopes for a return of the possibility to apply for a passport at the Consulate in Malaga and for getting a social worker in the area.
