The Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Unit for the Middle East and North Africa invites Consultancy Services for the
Palestinian – Finnish Education Programme, Phase II
The main objective of the Programme is to increase the quality of Palestinian basic education through supporting implementation, evaluation, and development of the new Palestinian curriculum.
The purposes of the Programme are
1. to help implement and further develop the new curriculum through enhancing the quality of assessment and evaluation at all levels of basic education,
2. to produce learning materials and develop the pedagogical use of information and communication technology for students both within the mainstream and special education and
3. to help continue the decentralization and coordination processes of the education administration as an important tool in the curriculum implementation.
Support Services to be provided by the Consultant include following:
Programme Co-Manager (27,5 months)
2 Young Professionals in Education (17 + 17 months)
Short Term Consultancy
The Programme Co-Manager would work the two first years as a full-time and the last year as a half-time adviser.
