Increasing Access to Quality Family Planning and Sexual and Reproductive Health for women and marginalized groups in Yemen

Description

MSIY's rogramme "Increasing Access to Quality Family Planning and Sexual and Reproductive Health for women and marginalized groups in Yemen" operates for three years in four governorates of Yemen. The program will improve the access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services and family planning (FP) counselling and methods for women of reproductive age and marginalized and underserved populations by building on existing MSIY activities such as outreach and social franchise (SF) and introducing new activities such as HIV testing in centres. The program will extend access to FP/SRH services to approximately 60,000 women (social franchisee clients and outreach clients over three years), from the “Al Muhamasheen” marginalized group and rural areas in four governorates in Yemen. All together this program will avert 10,920 Unintended Pregnancies, 1,130 Unsafe Abortions and create 47,912 CYPs.
