Nickolay Mladenov, the new Foreign Minister of Bulgaria, to visit Finland

Foreign Minister Nickolay Mladenov of Bulgaria will visit Finland on 2–3 March at the initiation of Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb.
In addition to bilateral relations between Finland and Bulgaria, the foreign ministers will discuss topical EU affairs, such as the external relations administration and enlargement of the EU. The situation in the Western Balkans, cooperation in the Black Sea region, Russia and Afghanistan, among others, will also be discussed at the meeting.
During his visit Foreign Minister Mladenov will also meet, for instance, with Minister of Defence Jyri Häkämies and Minister of Migration and European Affairs Astrid Thors.
Minister Mladenov was the Minister of Defence of Bulgaria before he was appointed the new Foreign Minister in January 2010.
