What does development aid provided by Finland look like? - Winners of the visualisation competition selected
In September, at the Open Knowledge Festival, the biggest international open knowledge event, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs launched a competition on visualising Finnish aid statistics.
The aim was to find new, innovative ways to demonstrate how and where Finnish tax-payers' money is used in development cooperation, thus making data on development cooperation easier to understand.
The three best entries to the competition have now been selected. These entries are:
The selection criteria used included clarity, informative content and usability of the visualisation. Only entries made by a person or a group living in Finland were taken under evaluation.
