Foreign Minister Stubb and Secretary of State Torstila to attend the Nobel Prize ceremony in Oslo

On Wednesday 10 December, Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb, accompanied by Pertti Torstila, Secretary of State, Ministry for Foreign Affairs, will attend the Nobel Prize ceremony in Oslo where President Martti Ahtisaari will be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen will also participate in the prize ceremony as well as the Nobel dinner to be organised later on Wednesday.
In the afternoon, Stubb and Torstila’s programme will include a ski tour in Holmenkollen together with Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Jonas Gahr Støre.
On Thursday morning, Prime Minister Vanhanen and Foreign Minister Stubb will continue directly from Oslo to the European Council meeting, to be held in Brussels.
